How to create a 2D escape game?

Create an online escape game with Rakura

Rakura allows you to easily create online escape games without coding. You have access to tools to design and then play the game you created.

Since version 1.03, Rakura offers two types of games:

• Classic
• Interface

Differences between the two game modes

Classic Mode

The Classic version is a simple mode with limited customization. It may become repetitive but is perfect for those who want to create a game quickly and easily.

Interface Mode

The new Interface version of Rakura offers near-complete customization of the user experience. You can place 2D objects in a predefined play area, creating a more immersive visual environment.

These 2D elements are fully customizable to match your vision of the game. You can change their size, color, shape, and more.

How to create a 2D escape game with Rakura

1. You need to have an account on Rakura. To do this:
   • Sign up
   • Or if you already have an account, log in
2. Go to your account and click on Add a project
3. Enter the name you want to give your project (your escape game's title) and choose the Interface game mode
4. Then click on Create the project

Once all these steps are completed, you'll be able to access your newly created project and start designing your game.
