Add images to your Rakura escape game

You’ve just created a game but find it lacks interaction and visibility? Add images! Learn in this tutorial how to integrate images into your Rakura project to make it more lively.

1. Use Rakura’s tools

With Rakura, you can upload your images to the platform and use them in your games.

Upload your images

• Go to your account page
• Scroll down to the "Uploaded files" section
• 
• Then click on "Add a file"
• 
• Fill out the form with the file of your choice
• Click on "Upload the file"

Note

It is recommended to compress your files before uploading them to the server. Here are some useful tools:

• Compress JPEG
• Compress PNG

Once your files are uploaded, they will be available for your projects.

2. Use an external image link

Don’t want to host your image on Rakura? You can integrate an image using an external link.

Here’s how to get an image link from a site like Pexels (royalty-free images):

1. Go to pexels.com
2. Search for an image related to your theme (e.g., "travel")
3. Right-click on the desired image and select "Open image in new tab"
4. Copy the image URL from the new tab

2. Integrate the image into the project
